How can i put this i can safely say that i had some fears of placing coals direct on the shisha but as H.B advised me... i did as he said and rotated the coals often so as to scorch the top layer and seal the tobaco... i must admit it had a certain aroma which i liked after 10 minutes i took the first hit and to my surprise i was hit with a nice flavour that is nothing like i have ever smoked before... really i think i managed this first try at Zaghloul perfectly and i was getting quite decent clouds... obviously coal management is the key factor here you need to tend them regularly... what a welcome change to fruit flavoured shisha... my opinion this is a definate go to flavour and will always be in my stock... for this shisha i would definately recommend the use of lemonwood coals

i will rate this smoke as a 9-10 absolutely ...

Glad to hear that Terry... As we grow older, or more experienced with hookahs, who knows, we might all end up smoking Turkish Tombeki or Isfahani tombak with lemon coals on solid brass pipes... 

Now seriously, some days You might feel like smoking such a plain black tobacco molasses, some others You'd prefer a sweet fruity flavour...As I told You this morning I find the taste of Zaghloul quite interesting, even if it could be much more complex. Now, do try to get some Nakhla Khan el Khalili or Super Kass, from Egypt... If you liked Zag, you'd love those two, or so I believe. I have'nt tasted Super Kass yet, but Khan el Khalili is quite a better smoke than Zag, it is richer and with a much more smoky taste...
